TIPS FOR THE RACE WEEKEND

Here are some useful tips to ensure you get the most out of your stay at the Bahrain FIA WEC circuit.

• The first piece of advice is clear: get there early. This is especially true on Saturday during race day. It is better to enjoy the atmosphere of the race on the circuit than wait in the queue.  The ideal time to arrive at the circuit is around 11 am on the race day.
• Time your trip to the circuit and think about your journey - because of the traffic.
• Plan what you will do and where you want to go. If you're going with friends, bear in mind that, especially on Saturday, the mobile phone network on the circuit is overloaded and phone and data services may not work. Always arrange a rendezvous point to meet up if you get lost.
• Note that the first day of running (including the first two FIA WEC free practice sessions) is usually closed to the public in Bahrain.
